Greetings All Willing to Help,
Do you ever plan you life, your schooling, your career, and then have it all changed by and unexpected situation or event?
When you think about it, time goes by so very fast. What you have planned for your life does not always work out the way you want it to. Sometimes, there are things that get in the way of your dreams. Sometimes, you need to deal with unexpected circumstances, in which arise and knock you down. The obstacles we have to face and the challenges we have to overcome, tends to make us more experienced and more knowledgeable with each situation we have to overcome. Things are not always what they seem, and in my case this is so very true. On the outside of my body, from another person's perspective, I seem as normal and healthy as the next person. However,...the things going on inside my body and mind, are another thing to deal with. I have one of the over 120+ Autoimmune Disease called Crohn's Disease, in which causes my hair to fall out, skin to dry or get eczema, leaky gut syndrome, allergies to become worse, and many other things.
Well, that is what happened to me. On November 9, 2009; I was rushed into the emergency room because of an abscess, on my right buttock, in which no one bothered to sent me for tests or cultures, they just cut me open with no numbing medications, or muscle relaxers. They assumed this abscess was a cyst, in which about two years later, when it did not heal, I was sent to a specialist in Boston, to help. I then found out that it is what is called a fistula, which was only confirmed after I went in for an MRI and then surgery, on December 19th, 2011. A fistula is a cut in the lining of your intestines, which can happen in any part of your digestive track, and go to any organ or form outside your body. From this surgery they found cells, in which correlated with a disease called Crohn's. I also found out that the fistula will never heal and it will always leak with bacteria. I was finally officially diagnosed with Crohn's Disease April 11, 2012, in which then was put on Remicade, to help me get the extreme Crohn's Disease under control.
The Remicade did help at first, and then it crippled me, shrinking all my muscles causing me pain and immobility. I then had to go through more testing, only to not get any answers. They thought I had Lupus, which turned out to be negative. I was then told I had an Autoimmune Disease, however not realizing it, Crohn's is one of the Autoimmune Diseases. There are actually over 120+ Autoimmune Diseases. The doctors put me on all sorts of medication, and well all have been unsuccessful, because I have become allergic to them or my body rejects them like they did with the Remicade.
I had so many dream, I was going for my PsyD, which is a Doctorate of Psychology, however I had to stop going for it because I can not travel. I only have 4 courses left, my 2 in-house residencies, a practicum, and the dissertation and I would have been completed. I lost my job in 2010, followed by my car, and any income at all in 2011. I now have not been working and have not had an income since 2011 when my unemployment ran out.
Not being about to return to work because of the fistula, and it leaking bacteria from my intestines, which has to have gauze pads and feminine pads, to change every hour. Because of the bacteria can be what is the bacteria in our intestines, it means it could be E-Coli or other bacteria which is normal in your intestines. I have tried for benefits, but they haven't yet determined if I am permanantly disabled or if there is other options, in which I could try. I am getting really discouraged.
I did have a good life, but now I have a degenerating disease, in which I have no treatment, as of yet that will even help me. I have developed an anxiety disorder, because of the fear of having an accident, while I am out and not being able to get to a bathroom in time. My major depression, has arose, because I have no incoming coming in, I have no treatment that is helping me to even get healthy and healed, and I have been stuck in a house since 2011; when this all started to get diagnosed.
I now, am asking for help. I have away of finishing my Doctorate degree online, but I need to raise $2395 for tuition and then $155 for books, for a total of $2550. I do not want this Autoimmune Disease, which has added more issues to my life to take over my life. I want to regain my life back, and one way I can still move forward is to finish what I started with my Doctorate degree.
But, I need help to raise the money, because I have no income at all. I have a drive to help individuals in my situation to be able to cope and deal better, no matter what their circumstances are. I want to finish, my degree to show them that there is hope, and that there are people out there willing to help you along the way. You just have to reach out and ask for help, and realize that there are people out there willing to help you and maybe going through a situation, in which one day you can pay it forward and help them.
I have been doing so much to try and be an Alternative Holistic Health Practitioner, and well I refuse to let this Autoimmune Disease called Crohn's get the better of me. So please help me out, it is not much money to raise even if 2550 people only donate a dollar to help me, I would succeed at reaching my goal, and you would have helped me in my need, and I Appreciate and Thank You one and all!!
Many blessings with love and light always, Namaste and Blessed Be!
Sincerely,
