Does anyone know what an Autoimmune Disease is? Do you know how many individuals are affected by them? Do you know what Autoimmunity is? Do you know what causes Autoimmune Diseases?
These are questions that are not being asked and are not being answered when you find out that your immune system has been compromised.
Autoimmunity - means that cells of the immune system are damaged and then they begin to make mistakes and start attacking the body's own tissues.
They do this because the cells are not recognizing the body's own tissue as being part of the body, they think or mistake the tissue for foreign "invaders" such as bacterias and viruses.
There are 3 things that are needed for the immune system to functions correctly.
The immune system needs these three functions to work correction in order to have a healthy immune system.
"Autoimmune" represents a category of at least 100 diseases, not any one specific illness.
Over 100 Autoimmune Diseases have similar origins or characteristics.
Another thing they have in common is inflammation.
Autoimmune Diseases are triggered by similar things, such as gluten, heavy metals, toxins, infections, and stress.
The main difference between each disease is that the immune cells target and attack tissue in different parts of the body.
An estimated 23.5 million Americans suffer from Autoimmune Diseases and this number is increasing. (Please Note: this is only and estimation of Americans it has not included the rest of the world.)
What causes Autoimmune Diseases? This is the big question. Some suggestions have been, gluten, genetic modification where seeds are altered in a lab and animals that have been given hormones to produce more or faster. The proteins in which the plants now contain are extremely hard to digest and cause symptoms such as, heart burn, reflux, gas, and bloating after eating.
There is evidence that these proteins cause immune reactions in the gut, which can promote the development of autoimmunity.
As stated above "Autoimmunity"- means that cells of the immune system are damaged and then they begin to make mistakes and start attacking the body's own tissues.
These are the things in life, in which we do not even realize happens, when things are chemically enhanced and modified. These individuals started by thinking up ways so we can have enough food or produce more food quickly, however by using chemicals and enhancements to plants and animals, there was never any thoughts as to how they would affect our bodies after they had been digested.
I am suffering with Autoimmune Diseases, and the more I research the more information I will be supplying on here for all to see. I will even have some tips and plans on how to maintain or make better the symptoms.
Please stay tune!!

There are 3 things that are needed for the immune system to functions correctly.
- Balance between T-cells and antibody-producing B-cells
- Balance between T-helper and T-regulator cells to turn on and off the immune system when needed.
- And the Immune System' ability to differentiate foreign "invaders" (such as viruses or bacteria) from natural parts of the body ( such as cells and tissues).
The immune system needs these three functions to work correction in order to have a healthy immune system.
